What we deem of when we think of the word fun? Mostly,
the answer will range from having circle of friends to drink with to having
freedom to do the things we want. What I
feel is, fun holds in itself, something more, even more than drinking or having
freedom to do what we wish for. Fun is about having to do right things, also
sometimes humorously with joy in us. That is fun.
Jam session is one of the many culture like dance party, which is organized by colleges or institutions alike, across Bhutan. Sherubtse College had its jam session organized in the evening of 17th October, 2020. As I have heard of the occasion, it was a happy feeling to see myriad of people, popping up on the dance floor.

The session was commenced by serving alcohol to
every individual who were interested. Many drank alcohol, and handfuls were
enjoying with a mere glass of coke (juice), I was in the latter group.
Irrespective of getting drunk or not, I deem, almost
all the collegian had good time. I danced my heart out, without even a sip of
alcohol inside my mouth. I think many; who did not drink also had as much good
time dancing, as I did.
The session ended by 10:30 in the night. Everyone seemed
to have enjoyed it. FINA and other office bearers were taking vital role in controlling
and taking care of everyone. The best part is, although there were loopholes
and minor problem, it was in a bigger picture, a good night to remember and
cherish in the days to come.
Thank you everyone, who were involved in making the
jam session a good one.
